Key Responsibilities • Support the preparation and organization of data used for reporting and analytics by building and maintaining data tables, views, and supporting structures. • Work with internal teams to understand reporting needs and identify required data elements from existing systems and data sources. • Develop and maintain SQL‑based solutions used for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. • Perform routine administration and support tasks for relational databases, including monitoring, basic performance tuning, issue resolution, and scheduled maintenance activities. • Assist with maintaining data models and structured datasets used for reporting, dashboards, and recurring analytics. • Build and maintain data pipelines that move data from source systems into reporting environments, including data validation and error handling. • Support ongoing migration and cleanup efforts related to legacy data and reporting processes. • Translate business requests into technical reporting or data requirements with guidance from senior team members or analysts. • Develop and update reports, dashboards, and exportable datasets that clearly present information to business users. • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing data validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis. • Document data processes, queries, and reporting logic to support knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance. • Participate in testing and deployment of data and reporting changes across non‑production and production environments. • Provide operational support for existing reports, dashboards, and data processes, including troubleshooting and minor enhancements. • Perform additional data and reporting tasks as assigned. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. • Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience working with enterprise data, reporting, or database systems. • Exposure to regulated or data‑driven environments (e.g., financial services, insurance, public sector) is beneficial but not required. Required Skills & Technical Experience • Practical understanding of relational databases and reporting data structures. • Hands‑on experience writing and maintaining SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and basic functions. • Familiarity with SQL Server–based environments, including routine support, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Experience working with ETL or data integration tools to move and transform data between systems. • Working knowledge of reporting and visualization tools used to create dashboards and standard reports. • Ability to perform data cleansing, validation, and basic quality checks. • Familiarity with scheduled jobs and automated data processes. • Understanding of core data warehousing concepts at a practical, working level. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data issues and resolve discrepancies. • Ability to manage assigned tasks independently while following established standards and guidance. • Comfortable working with both technical teammates and non‑technical business users. • Clear written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
