Please find the job details below: Position: Data Engineer (Financial Domain) Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months contract position Description: • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights. • Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, and data visualization techniques. • Tableau Expertise: Experience designing interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, with a focus on performance optimization and advanced calculations. • Snowflake Experience: Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, including writing efficient SQL queries, managing schemas, and integrating with BI tools. • SQL Proficiency: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Business Acumen: Understanding of business objectives and the ability to align data strategies to support decision-making. • Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders.
