Location: Tallahassee, Florida 32399 (Onsite)

Department: Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, construct, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines,
β’ Create and manage relational databases and data warehouses
β’ Write complex SQL queries, optimizing query execution and performance tuning,
β’ Data modeling and architecture,
β’ Ensuring data quality and reliability,
β’ Collaboration with Data Stakeholders
β’ Implementation of Data Security and Governance
β’ Expert SQL Proficiency (T-SQL, PL/SQL),
β’ Familiarity with Data Warehousing Tools like Snowflake, Redshift
β’ Works as a subject matter expert for data integration, data exchange, and interfaces between internal and external systems associated with the Agency,
β’ Collaborate between the applications developer/DBA and the business unit working with the carious Agency systems,
β’ Acts as a liaison between APD and the external Agency technical staff on resolving issues with interfaces, data integration and the data exchange jobs associated with the Agency systems
β’ Performs system testing and maintain the test results for various APD systems,
β’ Helps the developer/analyst in analyzing data and reports for resolving critical issues with production systems; and
β’ Liaises with network administrators, developers, system analysts, and business owners to assist in resolving problems with applications/programs.
Required Skills :
β’ 7 plus years of successful data driven system development/integration experience using Microsoft SQL server.
β’ Bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university and seven (7) yearsβ experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming or a bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer sciences or management information systems.
