Role description
Must be able to work under a W2, cannot work C2C for this engagement Agility Partners is seeking an InfoSec Data Engineer to support a large banking and financial services client. This is a role for a security‑focused engineer who thrives in a mature Agile environment and wants ownership over security integrations that directly protect enterprise applications. This individual will join a cross‑functional security software squad responsible for maintaining internal security products and designing custom cybersecurity integrations with application teams. You’ll operate with minimal instruction, partner closely with Information Security and engineering stakeholders, and drive projects from requirements through delivery and long‑term support. A Little About This Gig • Design and build custom security integrations that enhance application security • Translate security and integration requirements into scalable, production‑ready solutions • Partner closely with application teams and Information Security stakeholders • Establish strong working relationships across engineering and security organizations • Own projects end‑to‑end, including deliverables and milestone execution • Track progress and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders • Document solutions from initial requirements through production support • Troubleshoot and support distributed systems with an architect‑level mindset The Ideal Candidate • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience • Hands‑on, production experience with Venafi and/or CyberArk • Strong understanding of encryption, certificate management, and key management best practices • Experience with one or more general‑purpose programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Node, or similar • Ability to understand how complex systems interconnect and troubleshoot distributed environments • Comfortable working independently with minimal direction in a regulated environment Nice to Have • Experience with HashiCorp Vault or IBM Vault • Exposure to tokenization concepts • Experience with PQR or post‑quantum cryptography (PQC) • Ability to write readable and maintainable test code from unit through integration levels
