Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Onsite Duration: 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team on a 12-month onsite contract, with potential for extension. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, facilitate data democratization, and enable marketing technology platforms through robust data solutions. You’ll be connecting, ingesting, and exporting data between two Databricks instances, making pipelines available for internal and external stakeholders and supporting complex agentic workflows. • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data models for marketing and customer data use cases. • Ingest and export data with external vendors, ensuring seamless integration between Databricks environments. • Monitor and maintain data pipelines, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance. • Enable marketing technology (martech) platforms through robust data engineering solutions. • Drive data democratization within the organization, supporting self-service and agentic workflow initiatives. • Implement orchestration in a large-scale corporate data environment. • Work with event-driven architecture to support real-time and batch data flows. Required Qualifications • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in Data Engineering. • Strong proficiency in SQL. • Proficient in Python and Scala programming. • Demonstrated experience with Databricks, data lakes, and data pipeline construction. • Experience implementing orchestration in large corporate settings. • Familiarity with event-driven architectures. • Experience working with Customer 360 or marketing data sets (highly preferred). Bonus Skills • Deep expertise in marketing data and marketing technology (martech) environments. • Prior experience enabling data democratization and agentic workflows. • Experience managing vendor data integrations.
