Role description
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Engineer - III  to join a financial services company Remote. This is a 3-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. Pay: $100.00 - $120.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Description: Client Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire® Funds and Securities, the National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash®1, FedACH®, Check Services, and the FedNow® Service. FRFS operates as a fully integrated organization with groups dedicated to customer experience, operations, technology, product and customer/industry management, enterprise services, payments system improvement, and one focused on the ongoing growth and development of the FedNow instant payment service. Through our Enterprise structure, we strive to meet the needs of the marketplace for new products and services with speed and agility, seek to provide a robust and unified customer experience, and work to create career growth opportunities for FRFS staff. • The FRFS Enterprise operates with a customer-first mindset, comprised of team members seeking to do the best work of their careers in pursuit of our important central bank mission. • Client Financial Services Technology Group is looking for Senior data Engineers, with proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing highly secure, data platforms that support critical business requirements. • The ideal candidate will follow approved lifecycle methodologies, create comprehensive design documents, and perform rigorous coding and testing while upholding the highest secure coding standards and practices. • As a recognized elite individual contributor and subject matter expert, you will work with limited supervision and apply independent judgment to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. • In this role, you will engage with product teams as a trusted technical partner to drive adoption, resolve complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation, and leverage your hands-on tech lead or senior contributor experience to elevate our technical capabilities. Qualifications: • Hands-on experience in Cloud data engineering (ETL/ELT, Data Ingestion techniques, IaC, Data pipelines) • Hands-on experience with Secure Coding, Data and Application Security • Hands-on experience with AWS data services and building high performant data stores • Hands-on experience with Python and SQL • Advanced level experience with building and managing data Lakes is preferred • Excellent communication skills Requirements: • 8yrs of experience preferred • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of directly related experience and/or education required. • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
