Full Stack Data Engineer
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

About the Role:
Client is seeking a Full Stack Data Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in McLean, VA. We are ideally looking for candidates with a strong background in the financial services industry, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable data-driven applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions using AWS and Python.
• Build and enhance front-end applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Implement and optimize serverless data workflows using AWS Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB (DDB), and SQS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure production readiness.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB, and SQS.
• Front-end development experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Experience building full-stack applications integrating data backends and web interfaces.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and best practices for data pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
