Role description
Data Engineer (Banking - Integration)
Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site required
As a Data Integration Engineer, you will design and deliver end‑to‑end data integrations, build ETL pipelines, develop data models and data marts, and support regulatory reporting within a banking environment.
You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across our platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL Server and Oracle
• Deep knowledge of PL/SQL and T‑SQL
• Proven experience with ETL tools (DataStage preferred; SSIS, Alteryx also relevant)
• Experience in data modelling, data transformation, and data mart creation
• Background in banking regulatory reporting systems
• Understanding of data quality, security, and compliance requirements
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Exposure to Azure, Databricks, and cloud storage solutions
• Experience with AQR reporting (ECB)
• Familiarity with Kafka, IIB, or Message Queue technologies
• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• London (Hybrid working) 3/2 hybrid split
