Data Engineer

Job Title : Junior Data Engineer / Data Analyst Location : Fort Belvoir, VA (100% Onsite – Monday through Friday) Employment Type : Contract Rate: $30/hr on W2 NOTE: This position supports a government project and may require the ability to obtain and maintain any required government authorization or security clearance, where applicable. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer / Data Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a passion for cloud technologies, data engineering, and analytics. Required Qualifications • Up to 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Strong SQL and data querying skills • Experience with data processing, transformation, and ETL concepts • Experience working with structured and unstructured data • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Python or another scripting language • Familiarity with cloud-based data services and modern data architectures • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools • Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices Work Arrangement • 100% Onsite • Monday through Friday • Fort Belvoir, VA Additional Information • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. • This position supports a government project and may require the ability to obtain and maintain any required government authorization or security clearance, where applicable.
