Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting initiatives.
The Data Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable, and optimized data solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Develop and optimize data workflows for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external data sources
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security standards are maintained
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather data requirements
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
• Support data warehousing and reporting initiatives
• Implement best practices for data architecture and engineering
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures
• Experience working with big data technologies and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Familiarity with Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or Hadoop ecosystem tools
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Prior experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
