Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in need of a Data Engineer in Boston, MA. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Informatica for Snowflake
β’ Ensure compliance with privacy/security standards
β’ Develop data models and views for analytics
β’ Support interoperability using HL7, FHIR, X12
β’ Implement data quality processes and monitor pipelines
β’ Collaborate with teams to meet data requirements
β’ Maintain documentation and assist with governance
β’ Participate in testing and deployment of workflows
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field or equivalent experience
β’ 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development
β’ Hands-on experience with: Snowflake Cloud Data Platform, including SQL development and data modeling; Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for ETL/ELT design and implementation
β’ Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
β’ Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV)
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and storage services (e.g., S3, Blob Storage)
β’ Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management principles
β’ Snowflake or Informatica certifications are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
