Data Engineer/Lead Key Highlights 📊 Own end-to-end design, build, and optimization of a modern cloud data platform supporting analytics and ML workloads 🧭 Lead data architecture decisions across ingestion, transformation, modeling, and consumption layers 📌 Drive disciplined data platform execution using CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure best practices 📈 Build analytics-ready and ML-ready datasets that power reporting, insights, and advanced analytics 🤝 Partner closely with business, BI, and data science teams to translate requirements into scalable data models 🔄 Continuously improve data platform reliability, performance, security, and governance standards Role Overview This role is responsible for owning the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of a modern cloud-based data platform. You will work across data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and optimized for analytics and machine learning use cases. The role blends hands-on data engineering with technical leadership, requiring strong collaboration with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and data science partners to deliver high-quality, production-ready data products. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage cloud data platform environments, including warehouses, schemas, RBAC, monitoring, and compute configuration • Build and maintain reliable batch and streaming data ingestion and transformation pipelines • Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices for data platforms, including automated deployments and environment promotion • Develop analytics-ready and ML-ready datasets, feature stores, and model-serving pipelines • Design scalable, business-ready data models using medallion or similar architectures • Enable BI and analytics teams through curated data models, semantic views, and optimized data structures • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models and data structures • Maintain data platform documentation and modeling standards • Provide technical leadership and guidance, including oversight of small or outsourced data engineering teams Background & Qualifications • 3–7+ years of experience working with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake experience required) • Strong hands-on experience with batch and streaming ingestion patterns • Experience using transformation frameworks such as dbt • Familiarity with AWS services commonly used in data platform architectures • Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering workflows • Advanced SQL skills and experience designing production-grade data models • Exposure to large-scale analytics datasets across domains such as sales, marketing, consumer insights, or supply chain • Ability to collaborate effectively with business, BI, and data science teams • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and clear written and verbal communication • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment About Us We are a data-driven organization focused on building scalable platforms that support analytics, insights, and digital products across the business.
