π Weβre hiring: Data Engineer - 6 Month Contract | Cloud-first | SQL + Python | AWS

π‘ What youβll be doing:
β’ Building and optimising data pipelines in a cloud first environment (AWS)
β’ Collaborating with business stakeholders (tech & non-tech) to deliver smart, scalable reporting and data solutions
β’ Migrating and modernising ETL processes and data warehouses for reporting and monetisation
β’ Creating well-documented, efficient code in SQL and Python
β’ Implementing QA processes and supporting the business with both regular and ad hoc data deliverables
π Tech youβll work with:
β’ SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
β’ Python
β’ AWS stack β Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, Jupyter
β’ Power BI or Tableau (bonus)
β’ Excel (PowerPivot, VBA, lookups, advanced formulas)
π± Youβll also:
β’ Collaborate closely with our Data Engineers and Product Owner
β’ Own your solutions end-to-end, from design through deployment
β’ Help ensure clean, scalable, and well tested code
β’ Drive automation that saves time and cost across the business
β’ Contribute to a data culture where quality, collaboration, and impact come first
π― What you bring:
β’ 2+ years of hands on experience with large relational databases (500K+ customers)
β’ Deep knowledge of relational database concepts and performance optimisation
β’ Strong SQL and Python skills
β’ Experience designing in cloud environments ideally AWS
β’ A collaborative mindset and the ability to translate business needs into technical specs
β’ Bonus: knowledge of BI tools, domain experience in retail/marketing/loyalty, or a background in a quantitative discipline
