Data Engineer

Data Operations Engineer The Data Operations team enables seamless data usage across the company by building scalable, high‑quality data models and infrastructure. This role focuses on migrating dbt models from Redshift and Snowflake to Trino (Iceberg) while ensuring performance, compatibility, and best practices. You'll refactor and optimize SQL and dbt models, manage version control with Git, and partner with engineering and analytics teams to execute smooth migrations. You'll also support Tableau assets, validate migration impacts with stakeholders, and collaborate closely in an agile, fast‑moving environment. Requirements • 2+ years in data engineering, BI, or analytics • Strong SQL across Redshift, Snowflake, and Trino/Iceberg • Hands‑on experience with dbt and modern data modeling • Git-based version control experience • Familiarity with Tableau and data source modeling • Startup, SaaS, or financial services experience is a plus Impellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
