Data Engineer

Software Engineer- REMOTE - 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or DevSecOps - Strong experience with Starburst Enterprise/Trino/Presto - Strong experience with advanced Linux scripting and proficiency in a language. Preferred Redhat 8 Administration and Ansible - Experience with Iceberg, Hive, or similar table formats - Solid understanding of distributed query engines and data architectures - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc) - Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or similar IaC tools - Proficiency in at least on programming language (Python, or similar) Key Responsibilities: - Design, build and maintain a data platform using Starburst/Trino as a core query engine - Enable secure, performant data access across multiple data sources (object storage, relational databases, streaming systems, etc.) - Implement and manage infrastructure as code for data and platform services - Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline for data platform and deployments - Apply DevSecOps best practices Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
