Senior Data Engineer – Alteryx & Dataiku Location: London/Hove/Cardiff Rate: Competitive, inside I35 Contract Type: Long term contract 6 months ++ About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Alteryx and Dataiku DSS to join a dynamic team. You will design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows, collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. The role involves migrating existing Alteryx workflows into Dataiku and optimizing automated pipelines for cloud-based data systems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize automated data pipelines using Alteryx and Dataiku DSS. • Migrate and convert workflows between platforms, leveraging Python for efficiency. • Implement data quality checks and governance processes. • Collaborate with analytics teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders. • Manage cloud-native data systems in AWS or Azure. • Document processes and solutions, working within Agile teams using tools like JIRA. Essential Skills & Experience: • 5+ years hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Dataiku DSS. • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation. • Experience with RDBMS and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Familiarity with DevOps practices (GitLab CI/CD, PowerShell scripting). • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide solution design. • Effective communication with IT and business stakeholders. Desirable Skills: • Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., PySpark). • Domain knowledge in industries such as Insurance. • Familiarity with BI tools (Qlik, Power BI).
