Data Engineer – 6-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | London Hybrid (2–3 Days in Office) • Contract: 6 months • Status: Outside IR35 • Location: London Hybrid (2–3 days in office) Are you ready to build and optimize a cutting-edge enterprise data platform? We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a major technology transformation project, driving innovation and scalability through advanced data engineering practices. What You’ll Do • Develop and maintain a robust data platform using Microsoft Fabric • Design and implement ELT pipelines within a medallion architecture • Oversee platform maintenance and performance improvements • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and source system owners in an Agile environment • Set technical direction and drive engineering standards across teams What We’re Looking For • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric • Solid foundations in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional modelling • Hands-on experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL) • Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python • Bonus: Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform/Open Tofu), Soda Data Quality Testing, and Nutter Framework • Preferred certifications: DP-700 and/or AZ-305 Why This Role? • Work on a high-impact project shaping the future of data management • Collaborate with industry-leading experts in a dynamic environment • Drive engineering excellence and make a real impact Ready to take on the challenge?
