Role description
Position Overview Title - Data Engineer - Lung Screening, Data Engineer-Advanced Analytics Location: London / Remote "UK CITIZENS" CV only Required Skills We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the England Digital Screening programme, contributing to the development of data dashboards and reporting products for a new digital Screening service. You will build and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform and prepare data for reporting, developing ETL processes using PySpark and platform tooling. You will work within an Agile multidisciplinary team alongside Data Scientists, Analysts and UCD professionals. This is a largely remote role. • Must be a UK National with minimum 5 years unbroken residency • • • " "Strong experience in data pipeline engineering, ETL development and PySpark • Experience with Palantir products, including the Healthcare Federated Data Platform (FDP) • Ability to ensure data quality, reliability and performance across reporting pipelines • Experience supporting testing and validation of dashboards and underlying datasets • Proven ability to work independently and proactively in Agile delivery teams • Experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams including UCD professionals • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Comfortable with modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, TDD and CI/CD • Ability to pair-programme and follow collaborative coding standards" " • Experience working in Healthcare or wider public sector data environments • Familiarity with screening or clinical data systems" Location: London / Remote Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency
