Data Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Data Engineer. This is a 12 months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and located in Smithfield, RI(Onsite). Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key skills; Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, python, ETL • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Mathematics required with 10 years’ experience; master’s degree preferred • Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Airflow • Understanding of working with relational databases and familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica is preferred. • Ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles. • Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools • Demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions. • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and comfortable in summarizing technical information. • Ability to collaborate with other developers and co-workers including distributed team members. • Agile/Scrum experience or basic knowledge Our client is a leading Financial Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
