Data Engineer - IBM DataStage Type: Remote | Salary: £460 per day (Inside IR35) An innovative organisation in the government and defence sector is looking for a Data Engineer - IBM DataStage. This role involves joining a large-scale, secure programme focused on delivering critical data capabilities within a complex environment. The successful candidate will contribute to a long-term project running through to December 2026. What you'll be doing • Developing and maintaining data pipelines using IBM DataStage • Implementing data integration solutions within a secure programme environment • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure data quality and integrity • Supporting the delivery of critical data capabilities for complex projects • Troubleshooting and optimising existing DataStage jobs and workflows What we're looking for • Extensive professional experience as a Data Engineer using IBM DataStage • Proven track record of working within complex or secure environments • Ability to work effectively in a remote team based in the UK • Must have the right to work in the UK • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role What's on offer • Competitive daily rate of £460 inside IR35 • Remote working flexibility within the UK • Long-term contract duration through to December 2026 • Opportunity to work on critical national infrastructure projects Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
