Data Engineer

Responsibilities • Design and support cloud-based data and AI platforms within multi-cloud environments • Develop scalable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data processing • Ensure reliable data availability by supporting real-time and batch data workflows • Automate cloud resource provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to maintain data pipeline performance • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data capabilities in a fast-paced setting Skills • Proficient in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure for data solutions • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python for data transformations • Experience with creating and managing data ingestion and transformation pipelines • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices and tools, especially Terraform Preferred Skills • Knowledge of modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric • Skills in data modeling and performance tuning within cloud data warehouses • Experience with cloud-native services for data integration, processing, and CI/CD At Horizontal, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment, where diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral to our ethos.
