Role description

We are looking for: Data Engineer and PLSQL Developer- Charlotte NC 6-12 MONTHS Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ODS data models supporting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) workflows. • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views. • Collaborate with product teams and data governance to map data from source systems to ODS. • Ensure data quality, lineage, and consistency across systems. • Support data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation from source systems • Work closely with architects and product owners to ensure alignment with architecture standards. • Participate in unit testing, performance tuning, and defect resolution. • Support production deployment and post-implementation validation. Required Skills and Experience Technical Skills: • 5–8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and data engineering. • Strong expertise in database schema design and data modelling (OLTP/ODS). • Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks. • Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting. • Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is an added advantage. Domain & Functional Skills (Nice to Have): • Familiarity with KYC, AML, CDD, or EDD processes in financial institutions. • Exposure to banking data governance, risk, or compliance systems. • Understanding of data controls and regulatory reporting requirements. Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business logic into SQL transformations. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
