Role description
Title: Data Engineer
Location: Greenville SC
Daily Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes leveraging SQL, SSIS, and Python, with opportunities to pivot into Snowflake and cloud-based platforms.
• Support and clear backlog items by delivering on data engineering initiatives/projects such as server migrations, rebuilding data pools, and migrating on-prem SQL Server databases into production.
• Act as a self-starter, proactively identifying opportunities, asking the right questions, and driving tasks to completion without waiting on formal tickets.
• Troubleshoot dependencies across systems and ensure seamless transitions for applications and databases.
• Partner with a small team of engineers (local and remote), providing collaboration and light leadership while engaging with senior technical leads.
Requirements
• 5–7 years of data engineering experience with strong skills in SQL, SSIS, and Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong Work Experience/Projects in Snowflake
