Role description
Location: Milton Keynes, England
Model: Hybrid - 2 days remote
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing, maintaining, and building the medallion pipelines on a lakehouse architecture - owning the engineering behing the migration from the client's data platform onto a modern lakehouse architecture
• Collaborating with development and business teams to ensure data is available, reliable, and fit for purpose
• Building and enhancing reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics processes to support operational and executive teams
• Identifying trends, opportunities, and business drivers through advanced data analysis
• Supporting the development of predictive models, customer segmentation initiatives, and other data-driven projects
• Promoting data literacy across the organization by translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights
• Mentoring analysts and contributing to the growth and maturity of the analytics function
What we're looking for:
• Strong Python, with hands-on PySpark for building distributed data transformations
• Solid SQL / T-SQL (MSSQL) and sound data-modelling fundamentals
• Experience designing and operating ELT / ETL pipelines, including lakehouse / medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns
• Working with APIs and automated data-acquisition tooling (e.g. Mozenda) for data ingestion
• Power BI and DAX, with the ability to translate engineered data into clear reporting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in line management of a team
