Data Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities Kforce's direct client is looking for an Azure Cloud Data Engineer for a fully remote contract opportunity. Summary: The individual will be responsible for data/cloud generalist responsibilities related to Oracle, DevOps, Azure Cloud, etc. The ideal candidate will be flexible enough to jump in wherever they are needed. Requirements • Deep experience with data engineering/ETL/ELT • Azure Data Factory proficiency required; Building datasets, data flows, and pipelines in ADF (not just maintaining something already built) • Databricks • Proficient with python and SQL • Building and maintaining DevOps pipelines • Synapse db and Mongo/Cosmos db proficiency • Azure cloud certifications and/or past experience • AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience, and ETL related to applications containerized & deployed on AKS (or EKS) The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
