Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / SQL Server Developer (7+ years) who can work across both database development and QA automation functions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server expertise along with hands-on experience in test automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database structures, queries, stored procedures, triggers, and ETL workflows.
• Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of complex SQL issues.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines ensuring data reliability, integrity, and high performance.
• Build and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, BlazeMeter, or similar frameworks.
• Perform both functional and performance testing across applications and data processes.
• Support deployments in containerized ecosystems, ideally within OpenShift.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, DevOps, and application teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Required Skills
Primary:
• 7+ years of hands-on SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, ETL).
Secondary:
• Experience working with OpenShift or other container platforms.
Testing / QA Automation:
• Strong experience with test automation tools like Selenium, BlazeMeter, JMeter, or equivalent.
• Ability to design automated functional and performance test suites.

• Senior-level developer capable of taking ownership of both development and test automation deliverables.
