Data Engineer

Data Engineer Remote Role Duration: 6+months with possible extensions Interview Type : In person interview in Princeton NJ Working will be on PST Zone Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong foundation in data engineering best practices and experience with modern data warehousing and ETL platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably with Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS and Matillion ETL, to build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data integration solutions. This role involves working closely with cross functional teams to support data-driven initiatives across the organization. Mandatory Skills: • Proven Lead Experience managing and mentoring data engineering teams, with strong project ownership and delivery capabilities • Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data modeling, complex query optimization, and performance tuning • Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline development • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks • Working on AWS cloud platforms for data storage, processing, and deployment • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Experience with Matillion or similar ETL tools (preferred but highly desired) • Healthcare and PBM: PBM-specific knowledge and experience with transforming various healthcare data is a plus, but not required Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s in mathematics, Computer Science or related technical field.
