Working alongside experienced architects and engineers, you'll play a key role in building robust solutions and driving successful delivery. Role Overview β€’ Location: Hybrid / Remote (as required) β€’ Day Rate: Outside IR35 β€’ Industry: Data & Technology What You'll Be Doing β€’ Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines across the AWS data platform. β€’ Help modernise the existing environment by identifying and resolving technical debt. β€’ Work closely with client engineering teams, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice. β€’ Support the successful delivery of migration milestones and platform improvements. β€’ Collaborate with the Solution Architect to implement the target data architecture. β€’ Troubleshoot, enhance and stabilise the platform to ensure it's ready for production workloads. Main Skills Needed β€’ Strong hands-on experience with the AWS data ecosystem, including S3, Glue, Redshift and Lake Formation. β€’ Solid understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platform design. β€’ Strong Python and SQL development skills. β€’ Experience building and maintaining data pipelines within complex environments. β€’ Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and client engineering teams. β€’ Experience working in regulated or high-volume data environments. β€’ Previous experience in highly regulated industries such as Gambling/Gaming, Betting or Financial Services would be essential for this.
