What You'll Be Doing
β’ Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines across the AWS data platform.
β’ Help modernise the existing environment by identifying and resolving technical debt.
β’ Work closely with client engineering teams, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice.
β’ Support the successful delivery of migration milestones and platform improvements.
β’ Collaborate with the Solution Architect to implement the target data architecture.
β’ Troubleshoot, enhance and stabilise the platform to ensure it's ready for production workloads.
Main Skills Needed
β’ Strong hands-on experience with the AWS data ecosystem, including S3, Glue, Redshift and Lake Formation.
β’ Solid understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platform design.
β’ Strong Python and SQL development skills.
β’ Experience building and maintaining data pipelines within complex environments.
β’ Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and client engineering teams.
β’ Experience working in regulated or high-volume data environments.
β’ Previous experience in highly regulated industries such as Gambling/Gaming, Betting or Financial Services would be essential for this.
