Role description
Overview
A growing, multi-site service organization is seeking a Data Engineer to build a modern data foundation. A recently hired CFO is leading operational and systems improvements. Current systems are fragmented and heavily manual. This project will establish a scalable Snowflake-based data stack to unify data across HR, CRM, and finance systems and support future analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Fivetran or similar
• Implement and manage Snowflake data warehouse architecture
• Develop transformation layers using DBT (bronze → silver models)
• Integrate data from HRIS, CRM, corporate card, and AP systems
• Clean, normalize, and model multi-source data for downstream BI use
• Partner with finance and operations to ensure data accuracy and usability
Ideal Candidate
• Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, DBT, and ETL tools (Fivetran preferred)
• Strong background in multi-source data integration and modeling
• Experience working with SaaS business systems (HRIS, CRM, finance)
• Pragmatic, execution-oriented; comfortable in a build-from-scratch environment
• Able to operate independently in an early-stage data function
