Role description
Data Engineer | Contract | 6 months
We are seeking a hands‑on Data Engineer with deep Snowflake experience to support a critical data platform initiative. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and stabilizing production‑grade Snowflake pipelines and data models that directly enable analytics and business insight.
What you’ll do
• Design and maintain performant ETL/ELT pipelines within Snowflake
• Build and evolve analytics‑ready data models (medallion / curated layers)
• Ensure data quality, testing, and performance across production workloads
• Partner closely with architects and analytics stakeholders to deliver trusted data
What we’re looking for
• Proven, hands‑on Snowflake engineering experience (non‑negotiable)
• Strong SQL and Python in production environments
• Experience with dbt and modern ELT patterns
• Ability to explain data modeling decisions, tradeoffs, and quality controls
• Pragmatic, collaborative mindset with ownership of outcomes
This is an execution‑focused role for an engineer who enjoys turning Snowflake into a reliable, analytics‑ready platform—not just moving data from point A to B.
