Data Engineer

Primary Location: Louisville Kentucky V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Engineer for our premier client in Louisville, Kentucky. Education And Experience » • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in data warehousing • Experience with data modeling and designing scalable data architectures. Knowledge And Skills Technical Expertise: • Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica). • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards. • Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift). Preferred Qualifications • Certification in data warehousing or cloud platforms. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: Data Architecture • Collaborate with data architects to design and implement scalable data storage solutions such as data lakes, warehouses, and databases. • Ensure adherence to best practices in schema design and data modeling. Data Integration • Integrate data from diverse sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party systems. • Ensure data is clean, consistent, and reliable through effective validation techniques. Performance Optimization • Monitor and improve the performance of data infrastructure. • Debug and resolve data pipeline or infrastructure issues promptly. Collaboration • Partner with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions. • Provide technical expertise on data-related initiatives and projects. Soft Skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
