Our challenge We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in big data technologies, distributed systems, and cloud platforms, with a focus on building scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data platforms that drive business insights and decision-making. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala. • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data processing. • Develop and manage data solutions on AWS cloud services (S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.). • Implement data workflows and pipelines using Databricks. • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across data platforms. • Optimize performance of big data processing systems and troubleshoot production issues. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for data engineering workflows. • Work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources. Required Skills & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Big Data. • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Scala. • Proficiency in AWS ecosystem (S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.). • Hands-on experience with Databricks platform. • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions, etc.). • Knowledge of distributed computing and big data architecture. • Familiarity with version control tools like Git. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
