Data Engineer (StreamSets)

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst (StreamSets) - End User Productivity in Dublin, CA. Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in StreamSets to join our team focused on enhancing end-user productivity. The ideal candidate will provide Level 3 (L3) escalation support, maintain StreamSets instances, and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for data landing needs into Snowflake. Responsibilities: • L3 Escalation Support: Provide Level 3 support for existing production systems and assist with related enhancement activities; Ensure proper testing and adherence to business change management practices and procedures • StreamSets Maintenance: Handle the installation, patching, configuration, and maintenance of StreamSets on-prem runtime instances • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a StreamSets SME, with knowledge on the data landing needs into Snowflake for data analytics and reporting needs Requirements • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a focus on StreamSets • Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting needs, particularly with Snowflake • Extensive experience with Cloud applications and Data Lake architecture • Proficiency in Linux/Windows OS, networking, clustering, load balancers, Java, SSL, and certificates • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide L3 support Technical Expertise • Cloud Applications: Strong technical expertise in Cloud applications, Data ingestion, and Data Lake architecture • StreamSets Architecture: In-depth knowledge of StreamSets cloud and on-prem architecture, including environment configuration and deployment models • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience and strong technical knowledge with platforms like Linux/Windows OS, authentication systems, networking, clustering, load balancers, Java, SSL, certificates, etc. Preferred Skills • Experience with data landing into Snowflake • Knowledge of business change management practices and procedures • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
