Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support diverse analytics and business needs.
β’ Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
β’ Develop, test, and implement data integration solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies.
β’ Optimize data retrieval processes and refine data models for maximum performance and reliability.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data integrity and system uptime.
β’ Document architecture, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future scalability.
β’ Champion data quality and governance, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
β’ Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role, working with cloud-based and on-premises data systems.
β’ Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
β’ Experience designing and maintaining scalable data architectures and pipelines.
β’ Deep familiarity with relational and non-relational database technologies.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail in documentation and collaboration.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while thriving within a dynamic team.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for optimizing data processes.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
β’ Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data security best practices.
β’ Background in building data solutions for fast-growing or enterprise-scale organizations.
