Job-TradingHub Engineer Location: New York Experience: 3+ Years Industry: Financial Services / Capital Markets Role Overview We are seeking a skilled TradingHub Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-quality data pipelines that power the TradingHub trade surveillance platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL development, SQL, and Python (or C#), combined with hands-on TradingHub implementation expertise and a solid understanding of capital markets data. This role requires close collaboration with compliance, trading, and technology teams to deliver accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant data feeds that support surveillance analytics and market abuse detection. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines integrating internal and external financial market data into the TradingHub platform. β€’ Configure, deploy, and optimize the TradingHub trade surveillance environment, ensuring data quality and performance. β€’ Apply capital markets knowledge (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivatives) to ensure accurate data mapping and transformation. β€’ Work with compliance, trading, and risk stakeholders to align technical solutions with regulatory standards. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and quality issues, including performing root cause analysis for production incidents. β€’ Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data flows, mappings, and platform configurations. β€’ Drive continuous improvement through automation, performance tuning, and adoption of modern data technologies. Required Skills & Experience β€’ 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development within financial services or capital markets. β€’ Mandatory: Hands-on experience with TradingHub trade surveillance implementation. β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or C# for data transformation and processing. β€’ Solid understanding of market data, trade flow processing, and surveillance use cases. β€’ Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) or big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop). β€’ Knowledge of regulatory compliance, market abuse monitoring, and reporting standards. β€’ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Education β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
