Role description
Location: Remote (All-Star Candidate) / Ohio Preferred Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Support, troubleshoot, and stabilize existing enterprise data platforms and data integration processes.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or DBT.
• Develop and maintain high-performance SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Create scalable data processing solutions using Python and Databricks.
• Design and manage enterprise data models and data warehouse solutions.
• Work within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including OneLake and Synapse Analytics.
• Integrate data from enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance & Operations.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and application teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Monitor data quality, pipeline performance, and system reliability.
• Support reporting and analytics initiatives using Power BI.
• Participate in Data & AI modernization initiatives and leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Document data processes, architecture, and technical solutions while following best practices for data governance and security.
Must-Have Skills
• 2-5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Snowflake – SNOWFLAKE is the Primary skill.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or DBT
• SQL
• Python
• Data bricks
• Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
Strongly Preferred

• Dynamics 365 (CRM and F&O)

This person will support and stabilize an inherited data platform while helping build the company's future-state Data & AI environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, ownership mentality, and experience within the Microsoft Fabric stack are highly valued.
