Data Engineer

Title: Data Engineer Duration: 3 month contract Desired Skills & Experience • 7-9 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering • Strong expertise in Databricks & Databricks Auto Loader • Solid understanding of data architecture and modeling principles using medallion architecture • Hands-on experience evaluating and manipulating EHR data pipelines • Must have experience working directly with the business gathering requirements Job Description: This role is centered on operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on managing escalations and troubleshooting data-related issues. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data cleaning, validation, and resolving generic problems across workflows and pipelines. They will monitor critical systems, especially during resource outages, and ensure continuity by identifying and addressing failures in data pipelines. Leveraging Databricks for scalable data processing and integration, the analyst will conduct deep data analysis to generate actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. This person will be directly interacting with the business to gather requirements and execute them. The role also involves maintaining high data quality standards and staying current with best practices in data engineering, architecture, and BI tool integration. Compensation: $50-60/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
