Role description
Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled: Data Engineer to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) Role. Data Engineer Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) Contract Interview: In-person interview with client Jd • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Apache Airflow to support enterprise data platforms. • Build and optimize Snowflake solutions, including data modeling, performance tuning, automation, and integration with Oracle, AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, ECS/EKS), APIs, and other enterprise systems. • Develop cloud-native data solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, security, reliability, and high-performance data warehouse architectures. • Support AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives by preparing datasets and building data pipelines; experience with Snowpark, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Spark, Kafka, or Databricks is a plus. • Required: 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, AWS, Oracle, and Apache Airflow, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
