Overview of the role:
β’ Lead the development and execution of data strategies for trading and commercial teams.
β’ Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating needs into technical solutions.
β’ Collaborate with digital and data engineering teams to shape data architecture and governance.
β’ Enhance data quality, lineage, and controls to ensure reliable insights.
β’ Support the integration of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics tools.
β’ Promote best practices for data access, tooling, and workflows across teams.
Required experience and skills:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or related field.
β’ At least 3 yearsβ experience in data strategy, analytics, or data engineering, preferably within energy or trading sectors.
β’ Proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, or similar tools.
β’ Experience with data pipelines, modelling, and modern analytics environments.
β’ Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
β’ Digital-first mindset with an interest in automation and AI.
