Overview
The Digital Analytics Engineer supports a new team dedicated to understanding and optimizing the guest experience across e-commerce platforms (website and mobile app). As a connector between specialized teams (bookings, flight management, analytics), this role uses Tealium to collect behavioral data, build unified customer profiles, and deliver insights on journeys, loyalty, purchase friction, and personalization opportunities.
Responsibilities
β’ Implement and manage tag management with Tealium iQ, ensuring accurate event tracking across web and mobile.
β’ Configure Tealium EventStream for real-time behavioral event collection and routing.
β’ Utilize Tealium AudienceStream (CDP) to assign Visitor IDs and build/enrich unified profiles with behavioral, purchase, and loyalty data.
β’ Integrate SDKs in web and mobile apps to capture and structure events for Tealium.
β’ Collaborate on KPIs, guest journey tracking (e.g., first-time vs. frequent users, funnel drop-offs), and data-driven recommendations for ads, rewards, and experience improvements.
β’ Apply best practices to build scalable tag processes, troubleshoot data issues, and maintain quality.
β’ Analyze profiles and events to identify optimization opportunities.
β’ Stay current on martech trends and platform updates.
Qualifications
β’ 3+ years in digital analytics engineering, martech implementation, or tag management (e-commerce/travel preferred).
β’ Proven expertise with Tealium, including EventStream and AudienceStream.
β’ Hands-on experience implementing SDKs for web and mobile event capture.
β’ Strong knowledge of tag management best practices and building processes.
β’ Proficiency in web/mobile tech (JavaScript, APIs, SDK integration) and analytics concepts (behavioral tracking, segmentation).
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Marketing, or related (or equivalent experience).
β’ Familiarity with data privacy standards and high-traffic digital environments a plus.
