Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data engineering, data warehousing and analytics technologies • Expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers) • Strong working experience in ETL tools like Informatica (Power Center) • Working experience in scripting and automation using Unix, Python in a Data Engineering environment • Extensive experience with Relational Databases like Oracle including being able to implement performance tuning techniques • Strong working knowledge of Datawarehousing patterns and Dimensional Modelling techniques using Oracle • Experience building scalable patterns for data integration in a cloud-based as well as on-prem environments • Working knowledge of Batch scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys. • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as OBIEE/OAS • Working experience using GitHUB for Source Code Management (SCM) in a Data Engineering Practice • Working experience using GenAI tools like GitHUB Co-Pilot • Experience working on projects in an Agile environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
