Weβre hiring a hands-on Data Engineer for a 12-month initial B2B contract, based in Baltimore.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
β Design and build secure, scalable cloud-based data platforms that integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, IoT, and enterprise systems.
β Develop high-performance data pipelines and distributed processing solutions to support analytics, AI, and operational workloads.
β Establish data governance, security, monitoring, and reliability standards to ensure platform performance and compliance.
β Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions at scale.
β Drive platform optimization, architectural best practices, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
Physical AI
Digital Twins
Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, monitoring)
CAFQA
CI/CD for data workloads (GitHub Actions highly desirable)
Solid SQL and modern data engineering best practices
Comfortable working autonomously in a contract environment
