B2B Contract Data Engineer – Baltimore(Hybrid) We’re hiring a hands-on Data Engineer for a 12-month initial B2B contract, based in Baltimore. 👉 Candidates must already be based in Baltimore (hybrid working) Interviews are taking place this week (2-stage process). Key Responsibilities ● Design and build secure, scalable cloud-based data platforms that integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, IoT, and enterprise systems. ● Develop high-performance data pipelines and distributed processing solutions to support analytics, AI, and operational workloads. ● Establish data governance, security, monitoring, and reliability standards to ensure platform performance and compliance. ● Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions at scale. ● Drive platform optimization, architectural best practices, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. ✅ Must-Have Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer Physical AI Digital Twins Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, monitoring) CAFQA CI/CD for data workloads (GitHub Actions highly desirable) Solid SQL and modern data engineering best practices Comfortable working autonomously in a contract environment 💼 Contract Details Type: B2B Contract Duration: 12 months initial Location: Baltimore (hybrid) Start: ASAP Interview process: 2 stages (moving quickly) If you’re open to a quick conversation, or know someone suitable, reach out directly
