Data Engineer

Responsibilities: • Identify stakeholders, gather business and technical requirements, and develop a project plan for the company team. • Break the project into phases, and further break down the scope into Epics/User Stories within Jira each quarter. • Set and manage project timelines, scope of work, and coordination between teams. • Review and approve system architecture, data models, APIs, and general functionality to ensure it meets team needs. • Identify gaps between LMS functionality and company systems and architect viable solutions. • Develop validation rules and oversee testing of the new system, including data quality, data mappings, and data transformations. Requirements: • Experience leading a full lifecycle project including driving requirements, design, build, testing, cutover planning, and go-live execution. • Proficiency in Jira for breaking down project work into user stories for developers. • Industry expertise in ABF and mortgage servicing, including settlements, remittances/cash consolidation, and servicing workflows. • Strong technical architecture knowledge with the ability to design solutions to migrate from legacy to new platforms. • Good communication skills and change management abilities to align stakeholders and ensure operational readiness of the new platform.
