Job Title:- Azure Data Engineer
Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: - Frisco TX , Bellevue WA , Atlanta GA (Onsite)
Must Have Skills
• Skill 1 – Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, query optimization, execution plans)
• Skill 2 – Snowflake (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, performance tuning)
• Skill 3 – Databricks with PySpark (Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, job clusters)
• Skill 4 – Python (pandas, PySpark, pytest, logging)
• Skill 5 – dbt (models, tests, snapshots, macros, CI integration)
• Skill 6 – Airflow or Azure Data Factory (DAG design, scheduling, alerting)
• Skill 7 – Azure Cloud (ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, ADF, Azure Functions, Key Vault)
• Skill 8 – Streaming technologies (Apache Kafka / Azure Event Hub, Spark Structured Streaming)
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt in production environments.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills.
• Experience building finance or regulated data pipelines at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
• Telecom industry experience (ARPU, churn, prepaid/postpaid metrics).
• Experience with both Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Prior experience supporting financial reporting and period-end close cycles.
