Data Engineer • Job Title: Data Engineer • Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) • Duration: 7 months • Openings: 12 • Experience Level: 4+ years in data engineering • Visa: Open (all visas work) Note • Hybrid in Plano, TX • 12 openings available • All visas work • Duration: 7 months Mandatory Requirement Required Skills & Qualifications • Java and/or Python (HM requires combination of both) • SQL • AWS • 4+ years building or operating data pipeline and orchestration systems • 4+ years data or application engineering experience (Java, Python, SQL) • 4+ years building real-time or event-driven data systems • 4+ years with distributed data and computing tools (Kafka, Spark, EMR, Hadoop, or equivalent) • 4+ years with cloud data warehousing platforms at scale • 4+ years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • 3+ years with pipeline scheduling and workflow orchestration tools • 2+ years with secure secrets management and credential handling in production systems • 2+ years working in Agile engineering environments Role Overview Design, build, and operate large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines that move, transform, and publish data across the enterprise with high reliability and low latency. Collaborate with Agile teams to architect end-to-end data solutions — from ingestion and orchestration through to event streaming and downstream delivery.
