• 4+ years data or application engineering experience (Java, Python, SQL)
• 4+ years building real-time or event-driven data systems
• 4+ years with distributed data and computing tools (Kafka, Spark, EMR, Hadoop, or equivalent)
• 4+ years with cloud data warehousing platforms at scale
• 4+ years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 3+ years with pipeline scheduling and workflow orchestration tools
• 2+ years with secure secrets management and credential handling in production systems
• 2+ years working in Agile engineering environments
Role Overview
Design, build, and operate large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines that move, transform, and publish data across the enterprise with high reliability and low latency. Collaborate with Agile teams to architect end-to-end data solutions — from ingestion and orchestration through to event streaming and downstream delivery.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
• Build and operate large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines
• Architect end-to-end data solutions from ingestion to event streaming and downstream delivery
• Use Java/Python for data engineering and application development
• Design and build data pipelines using Kafka, Spark, EMR, Hadoop, or similar tools
• Work with AWS cloud platforms
• Implement pipeline scheduling and workflow orchestration
• Ensure secure secrets management and credential handling
• Work in Agile engineering environments
• Apply data observability practices (monitoring, alerting, SLA tracking, data quality frameworks)
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries preferred
