Data Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking a Data Engineer to fill a position with one of our clients in the financial services industry. This is an opportunity to help build and enhance enterprise data platforms that drive critical business decisions and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will work with modern data technologies to design scalable data solutions, improve data quality, and support business intelligence capabilities across the organization. Responsibilities • Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable data management systems and ETL processes to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs. • Develop and enhance data integration solutions using Snowflake, DataStage, and related technologies to ensure reliable and efficient data movement. • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that align with business objectives. • Research, implement, and recommend improvements to data reliability, quality, disaster recovery processes, and emerging data technologies. Qualifications • Proven experience in Business Analysis and Business Intelligence environments with a strong understanding of data-driven business processes. • Hands-on experience developing and supporting ETL solutions using Snowflake, DataStage, and related data integration technologies. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, data acquisition, and data management best practices. • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB, or similar technologies. • Experience designing, building, and supporting scalable enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions. • Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
