We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale cloud data platforms, build high-performance data pipelines, and enable advanced analytics for large-scale business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Build and optimize data models and schemas in BigQuery for high-performance analytics.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data partitioning, clustering, and query optimization strategies in BigQuery.
• Utilize GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub to build cloud-native data solutions.
• Interpret and convert SQL and CCL scripts into optimized BigQuery implementations with seamless GCP integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, scalability, reliability, and performance across cloud data platforms.
Required Skills
• 7–8 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Extensive experience with BigQuery development and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in query optimization.
• Experience converting legacy SQL/CCL scripts into BigQuery solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and cloud-based analytics.
