Apply via Dice today! nTech Workforce has an immediate 23358 Data Engineer Terms of Employment • W2 Contract, 12 Months • This is a hybrid role at Columbia, MD Overview Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and database architectures. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing data movement and ensuring efficient data exchange across systems to support the organization's analytical and operational needs. Responsibilities • Design, build, and deploy reliable data movement and integration processes. • Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and structures using SQL and NoSQL technologies. • Manage, transform, and validate various data exchange formats to ensure seamless system interoperability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and implement scalable database solutions. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex data and database-related issues Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required. • Proficient knowledge and understanding of database design and implementation concepts. • Proficient knowledge and understanding of data movement concepts. • Proficient knowledge and understanding of data exchange formats. • Proficient knowledge and understanding of at least one programming language such as SQL, NoSQL, or Python. • Proficient ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of complex problems. • Proficient and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of Facets system and data warehouse knowledge.
