Data Engineers with Snowflake and Matillion - 100% Remote

We’re seeking experienced Data Engineers with Snowflake and Matillion to join a fully remote team supporting enterprise-level data initiatives within the healthcare space. This is a backend-focused role centered on building scalable data pipelines and modern data architecture—ideal for engineers who enjoy working behind the scenes to power data ecosystems. Duration: 6–12 month contract Location: 100% Remote Must haves: Snowflake and Matillion What You’ll Do • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and Matillion • Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes integrating data from internal and external sources • Implement robust data integration workflows across multiple systems and environments • Design and maintain data models with a strong emphasis on Data Vault architecture • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all data layers • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers and data architects • Document data architecture, workflows, and technical processes What You Bring • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, performance tuning, optimization) • Proven experience with Matillion for ETL/ELT development • Advanced SQL skills working with large-scale datasets • Deep understanding of Data Vault modeling (Raw Vault, Business Vault, Information Marts) • Experience building and maintaining complex data pipelines and integrations • Ability to create detailed source-to-target mappings and technical documentation • Experience integrating data from APIs, flat files, and third-party systems • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Nice to Have • Experience with data orchestration and scheduling tools • Exposure to CI/CD practices for data pipelines • Familiarity with streaming or real-time data processing This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact data engineering initiatives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with a strong technical team.
