The team needs to build a centralized Quality Management System (QMS) to consolidate and manage this data effectively.A prototype has already been developed and received funding approval. The goal of this role is to expand on the prototype, demonstrate potential ROI, and enhance QMS functionality. This project serves as a proof of concept to validate the long-term vision and justify continued investment.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Design, build, and enhance a Quality Management System to centralize fragmented data from multiple sources
Develop robust data processing, statistical, and reliability models
Create visual dashboards and analytics in Power BI (end visualization layer)
Work extensively within Databricks to process and manage data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, refine, and scale the prototype
Perform advanced data analysis, generate insights, and support decision-making
Architect and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions as needed
Support ongoing enhancement of system functionality and performance
Necessary Skills:
SQL (preferred) or Python (expert level) – 10+ years of hands-on experience
Databricks – 5+ years of experience; familiarity with Databricks’ custom language/environment
Strong statistical background – capable of data analysis, data processing, and building reliability/heat map models
Experience with data engineering and analytics, focusing on processing and visualization rather than AI/ML-heavy modeling
Proven experience developing systems or platforms from the ground up (not just configuring off-the-shelf solutions)
Power BI dashboard development experience
Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree a plus)
